Our 1st Post!

Fist and foremost I just want to say "Thank you" deeply, from the bottom of my heart. This business was a goal of mine as soon as my son Kingston Dewayne was born. Welcoming him into the world was one of the most pivotal moments in my life. You know, when you become a Parent, LIFE starts REALLY "LIFING". You start to do all kinds of calculations on unnecessary expenses, necessities, and everything in between. Well once the weight of the world was placed on my shoulders with the duties of being even more of a provider and having an influence in this little human of mines life, that's when "Be Great Kids Apparel" happened. Sitting in my bed with this little human sleeping beside me a voice in my head kept getting louder and LOUDER. "Get Up!...Get Up!" as this voice became louder I sat in the middle of my bed and created the infamous logo that you all know and love. After that , it was all she wrote, I started putting all of my knowledge from Retail and being a Preschool Teacher together. I asked God to help me navigate this venture along the way. I asked God to give me the strength to balance now being a SINGLE Dad, taking care of me and my sons responsibilities, working a 9-5, and NOW starting this vision that he gave me. So it went like this "God you gave me this vision. You blessed me with this beautiful child despite the circumstances we're under. You keep testing me but I see the Testimony unfolding in front of my eyes. So walk with me". Ever since this the 4am wake up calls to praise and worship started happening which worked out perfectly due to the fact that my son thinking it's a rave at 4am. Then the entrepreneurship started kicking in, little by little I was working on apparel and gradually started building our website all before clocking in at 7:00 am. "OH word? This is what we're doing now my G?!" is what I had to pop my head up and scream to the Big Guy with the bags under my eyes and coffee in hand. But here with the support and love from so many I present to you "Be Great Kids Apparel". What started off as a Dream, that became a Vision, that is now a REALITY. I just wanted to share a little bit of my Journey to not only give you guys a breakdown on the biz but to give you all inspiration. That even in our darkest and most turbulent times, if we just remain STILL and listen and obey that inner voice, it'll take you on a journey beyond your wildest dreams. Stay Focused, Pray More, and Stay Positive in all seasons.

I'm going to try to give you guys at least a blog once a week to just keep you guys informed on the process, to continue being a light to others, and for us to just talk about whatever we want! THIS IS FOR US! So even though you guys wont see this until we Go Live, leave us a comment on some of the topics you would like for us to cover whether it's Parenting or just anything regarding Life in general.
